The BestVox M3 is a compact two-way bookshelf speaker for desks, studies and small rooms. It measures 160 × 268 × 190 mm (W × H × D) and uses a 98 mm mid/woofer with a 19 mm tweeter. Price is for a pair of speakers.
Drivers and sound
The 98 mm mid/woofer is a custom-developed BestVox driver. It covers the bass and midrange, so voices and instruments come through clearly.
The 19 mm tweeter is ferrofluid-cooled. The cooling keeps it stable in loud passages, so the treble stays smooth instead of harsh. Frequency response is 68 Hz–22 kHz.
Amplifier and placement
The M3 is a 4 Ω speaker with 86 dB sensitivity and 30 W power handling. Use an amplifier that is rated for 4 Ω loads.
Its small footprint suits a desk, a bookshelf or a small listening room. The bass port is on the back, so leave some space between the speaker and the wall.
